Audio Book Horseback Across Three Americas with FREE PDF EDITION!

Although I had recently read The Long Way to Los Gatos, I could not resist checking out this better written and even greater rendition of Verne's adventures riding Peruvian horses from Peru to the U.S. It is a very interesting read not only because of my love of horses, Peruvian horses in particular, but because it gives insight to the countries and cultures of South and Central America Verne rides through on his way north. The detailed experiences about people's reactions to his adventure as he travels through their countries and his encounters with the "locals" are amazing in that for the most part, he received so much kindness and help from people from all levels of society and economic means, whether they had the resources to help, or not, many were so generous. This is a tale worth reading and it is hard to put down as I too rushed to the end only to be disappointed that the adventure was over for me.
